Free Bets are a low-risk way to bet on the darts. You can put together a multi-leg accumulator or a long odds RequestABet to try and land a big return without staking your own money.
There are a lot of different ways to get free bet offers, you can check out some common offers our bookmakers partners run below:
Bet X Get Y Promotions are available for both new and existing customers. For new customers, you can select an offer that can award you up to £60 in free bets once your first bet has settled. They are the most common free bet offer and a great way to start your account with a bookmaker.
For existing customers, these offers are event specific and lower value. For example, you might get an offer for a £10 free bet on the first round of the PDC World Darts Championship when you place a £10 qualifying bet on the outright winner.
Enhanced offers are a great way to get lots of free bets from a low stake. Simply create an account using the link above and you'll be offered the enhanced price on a simple selection. For example, Luke Littler to hit a 180 at 50/1.
The offer will have a max stake of £1 and the winnings paid in free bets but if it wins you will be set up with a lot of free bets as you open your account
Sometimes bookies will offer free credit with no qualifying requirements as a reward for loyalty or to get you to engage with new markets. They are event specific, sometimes to a specific match such as the final of the World Darts Championship, and are usually small amounts between £1-£10.
Deposit match free bets are for new customers and will give you matched free bets on your first deposit up to a certain amount. They are less common nowadays but a popular way to get free bets if you are happy to deposit higher sums.
These aren’t that common in darts, but money back as free bet offers are sometimes found on high profile matches or finals in order to encourage you to engage with darts products. If your bet losses, you would get your stake returned as a free bet up to a certain amount.
You can get the best darts betting sign-up offers and free bet promotions right here on Sporting Life Free Bets. All our bookmaker partners offer special prices, free bet offers, and betting promotions for the darts.

Darts is an incredibly popular and exciting sport to bet on with a variety of pre-match and in-play markets being offered by bookmakers.
This goes beyond the classic win-loss markets and can help you find great value, especially when combining a few selections into an acca to get bigger odds for your free bets. Some of the most popular markets for darts betting are:
The most basic market that you can bet on, here you are selecting who will win the match, regardless of scoreline or set structure.
It is a popular market for all darts events; however odds can be very heavily in one player’s favour during early rounds making them an unattractive betting proposition.
Handicap betting helps you improve the odds of highly favoured players. For example, Luke Littler may be 2/5 to win the first round of the PDC World Championship, but with a handicap of -2.5 legs the odds are increased to 11/10.
This makes a much more appealing betting proposition but does mean he would need to win the match by 3 or more legs than his opponent has, and so increasing the risk.
Set or Leg betting is a way to bet on smaller pieces of action compared to the whole match. You could bet on how many legs a player will win or if they will win the next set or leg.
This is a popular market for in-play betting and is widely used at most darts tournaments.
Betting on the correct score gets you much bigger prices as you are trying to guess the specific score of the sets or legs. For example, you could bet on Michael van Gerwen to win his match 6-0 at a bigger price of 9/1, compared to a straightforward match result at 2/9.
These are a great option for free bets as you can try land a bigger return, but these are also common in the early rounds of tournaments when high-quality players can have easier matchups.
Betting on the highest checkout can take a few different forms. You can bet on a head-to-head market which simply lets you select who you think will have the highest checkout in the match.
You could also combine this with Over/Under Markets, as you could bet on a player’s highest checkout to be over/under 110.5, 120.5, etc. These are popular at most tournaments but in particular during later high scoring rounds between star players.
180 is the highest score a player can land in a single visit to the board so players are often trying to hit this number. In this market you are betting on how many there will be in the match overall, or how many each player will hit.
You can bet on head-to-head markets for who will have the most 180s in a match. These are a fun and exciting market to choose for high-scoring matches towards the final rounds.
Over/Under markets cover a wide range of topics in darts, from betting on the total number of 180s to the number of sets/legs, there are a lot of different markets.
These are popular markets to combine into accumulators to cover a few different matches to boost the odds for your free bet.

We’ve listed the biggest tournaments taking place in 2024/25 and everything you’d need to know about them:
The Players Championship takes place every November and includes the top 64 ranked players from that season. Rankings are based on total prize money that each player has won in the 30 Player Championship events during the season.
As it only features the top ranked players, there are plenty of high-scoring matchups, especially in the later rounds. This makes it an exciting and attractive opportunity to use some free bets as well as claim a betting sign-up offer!
The UK Open takes place in March is one of the most fascinating events on the darts calendar as it features 160 players in an unseeded open draw after each round. This means that entry is open to players at all levels of darts and makes the tournament full of potential upsets.
In 2016, Barry Lynn qualified as an amateur and was appearing at his first event, he managed to beat reigning World Champion Gary Anderson 9-7 in one of the biggest shocks of recent years. The tournament has even earnt the nickname “The FA Cup of darts” due to it’s unpredictable nature!
With so many big names playing against amateurs, there can be very one-sided betting markets to try and take advantage of either with handicap betting, correct scores, or accumulators.
The World Grand Prix takes yet another format of the game of darts, as players must begin and end each leg on a double, rather than the usual format allowing players to start anywhere on the board.
It takes place in October and is shown live on Sky Sports. It features the top 16 ranked players in the PDC and the top 16 non-qualified players from the ProTour (non-televised and European events). It is full of exciting matchups between international and domestic stars throughout the tournament.

Each night of the event is a mini tournament in which the winner gets 5 points, the runner-up 3, and the losing semi-finalists 2 points. The top 4 players in the PDC rankings and 4 wildcards are included in the competition.
As it runs every week from February to March, there are less betting sign-up offer associated specifically to this event. However, as the tournament heats up and each mini tournament becomes crucial to winning the title there are plenty of free bets you can claim from our bookmaker partners.
