Nick Hext brings you his selections for Saturday's action in the Sky Bet EFL, including Cardiff continuing to push for automatic promotion.
Saturday evening's TV game
Cardiff's push to join Wolves in winning automatic promotion from the Sky Bet Championship continues with a Saturday evening clash at home to Nottingham Forest. The Bluebirds are battling it out with Fulham and Aston Villa to secure a top-two finish and I expect Neil Warnock's side to just about get the job done in front of the Sky Sports cameras. Cardiff have claimed back-to-back victories to nil and I reckon Warnock has his men primed for a third clean sheet in a row. Forest have only netted in one of their last seven matches on the road, an amazingly out-of-place 5-2 victory at QPR, and the win to nil for the hosts is the best way to find some value.
Saturday afternoon's Sky Bet Championship selection
Norwich to beat Preston, Sky Bet Championship (Saturday, 1500 BST)
Norwich look far too big at over 4/1 to win at Preston on Saturday afternoon. The only remaining target for the 13th-placed Canaries is to secure a spot in the top half - rivals Ipswich are only ahead on goal difference - but they are more than capable of upsetting play-off hopefuls North End. Alex Neil leads Preston against his former club and I can't see the Deepdale outfit securing a top-six finish despite claiming back-to-back wins. Norwich pushed second-placed Cardiff before falling to a late defeat last time out and I'm prepared to take a chance on the Canaries prevailing at a big price.
Saturday afternoon's Sky Bet League One selection
Rotherham to beat Bristol Rovers by one goal, Sky Bet League One (Saturday, 1500 BST)
Rotherham are my pick of the sides set to scrap it out in the Sky Bet League One play-offs. I expected a season of struggle for the Millers so absolute credit must go to Paul Warne and his squad for bouncing back from last season's nightmare at the bottom of the Championship. Bristol Rovers are the visitors to the AESSEAL New York Stadium on Saturday and I like the look of the hosts to claim a win by one goal. Four of Rotherham's last five victories have been by the minimum margin and it's the best way to get a bigger price with the odds-on favourites in this contest.
Saturday afternoon's Sky Bet League Two selection
Accrington to beat Wycombe, Sky Bet League Two (Saturday, 1500 BST)
I'm hoping that Accrington haven't over-celebrated after guaranteeing promotion out of Sky Bet League Two with a 2-0 victory at home to Yeovil on Tuesday night. Stanley are available at 3/1 to win on the road at third-placed Wycombe this weekend and that is just too big for the best side in the division. Accrington are out to claim their third away success in a row, a run that includes victory against second-placed Luton, and it's surprising they are still being underestimated, even with odds of 1/9 available to land the title. Wycombe are a strong outfit but there shouldn't be such a big disparity in prices for this contest.
