Elina Svitolina's excellent form continued as she defeated Caroline Wozniacki 6-4 6-0 to win the Rogers Cup in Toronto.
It was a fifth tournament victory of the season for the Ukrainian, more than any other player on the WTA tour prompting Sky Bet to make her a 12/1 shot to win the US Open later this month.
Having already seen off the likes of Venus Williams, Wimbledon winner Garbine Muguruza and defending champion Simona Halep, Svitolina needed just 77 minutes to overcome Wozniacki.
And the unfortunate Dane has now lost all six of the finals she has contested this year, having previously been the runner-up in Doha, Dubai, Miami, Eastbourne and Bastad.
Svitolina was playing her third match in two days after rain pushed her quarter-final to Saturday.
But she used her powerful groundstrokes and superb return game to break six times in total and secure a win which will take her to a career high No 4 in the world rankings.
"It was an incredible week," said Svitolina
"Played against great players, I beat them, and it's just something really amazing and I am very, very tired.
"I left everything out there. It's been incredible that I could go through this. I didn't even think that I could."
