Sky Sports secure tennis TV rights following Amazon Prime stint

Sky Sports has signed a five-year deal to show ATP and WTA tennis events from 2024 in the UK and Ireland.

Amazon Prime Video took over ATP rights from Sky and WTA from BT Sport in 2019 and 2020 respectively in the streaming service’s first big move into the UK live sports market.

But the US Open returned to Sky last year and the tours are now following suit, with the broadcaster promising to show more than 80 tournaments live every year and over 4,000 matches.
