A total of 128 players will be in action at the English Institute of Sport in Sheffield from Monday 4 April to Wednesday 13 April as they chase for 16 available spots at the World Championship.
There are four qualifying rounds overall, with players beginning their campaigns at different points defending on their world ranking.
Competitors ranked 81 and below will enter at the first round alongside 16 invited international amateurs, while the second round will see those ranked from 49 to 80 enter the competition.
The winners will then advance into the all important third round and be joined by those ranked 17 to 48 in the rankings.
All matches will be the best of 11 frames until the final round, which will see the format increase to 19 frames.
