Ronnie O’Sullivan thrashed Robert Milkins 4-0 in less than an hour as the World Grand Prix got under way in Preston on Monday night.
The Rocket is seeking his fourth ranking title of the season having won the English Open, Shanghai Masters and UK Championship, so he'll be happy with his early signs of form at the Guild Hall.
O'Sullivan's highest break during a 53-minute win was 119 and he'll next meet Chinese sensation Yan Bingtao on Wednesday evening.

In the last match to finish on day one, Jack Lisowski edged out Ryan Day 4-3 with a top break of 93. Lisowski, enjoying the best season of his career so far, trailed 3-2 but won a 45-minute sixth frame on the colours then took the decider 74-16. He now meets Shaun Murphy or Ricky Walden.
