Ronnie O’Sullivan will face Neil Robertson in the Hong Kong Masters final after the pair both posted last-four wins on Saturday.
O’Sullivan edged a final-frame thriller with Judd Trump to progress 6-5.
The Rocket got off to a flying start, moving 3-0 up after rattling in breaks of 128 and 85.
However, a 136 sparked Trump to life as he won four straight frames for a 4-3 lead. He also led 5-4 as he moved within one frame of victory but O’Sullivan held his nerve to claim the last two.
A break of 126 forced the decider which went down to the black with O’Sullivan emerging a 64-59 winner.
Robertson had earlier earned a 6-4 win in the first semi-final against Marco Fu.
Local hero Fu had opened a 3-1 lead thanks to breaks of 70, 103 and 59 but former world champion Robertson recovered with a run of three straight frames, including breaks of 59 and 100.
He went on to seal victory with a run of 82.
