Worcester wing Bryce Heem faces suspension

Worcester wing Bryce Heem could face suspension after being called to a disciplinary hearing over his red card in Sunday's 40-33 defeat by Wasps.

The New Zealand-born flyer was sent off in the Aviva Premiership clash at the Ricoh Arena for tackling Wasps' Willie Le Roux in the air.

Heem will face a three-person Rugby Football Union (RFU) panel in Bristol on Monday night.

"Bryce Heem of Worcester Warriors will appear before an RFU Disciplinary panel this evening charged with tackling the jumper in the air," read an RFU statement.

"The wing was sent off by referee Luke Pearce in the Aviva Premiership match between Worcester and Wasps at the weekend for tackling Willie Le Roux of Wasps in the air. The incident occurred in the sixth minute of the second half of the match."
