Sheffield Eagles winger Garry Lo and former Leeds hooker James Segeyaro are back in the fold for Papua New Guinea.
Lo, who will join Castleford for the 2018 season, has not played for the Kumuls since 2014 while Segeyaro is set to add to the solitary cap he won six years ago after both men were named in the 24-strong squad for the World Cup.
PNG are 80/1 with Sky Bet to win the tournament, in a market headed by Australia who are 4/11 favourites, New Zealand 4/1 and England 13/2.
Segeyaro, who walked out on Leeds at the end of last season and is now playing for Cronulla, will be vying with Catalans Dragons' Paul Aiton for the hooking role.
The squad, which will be led by Brisbane winger David Mead, also includes Lachlan Lam, son of former Wigan scrum-half Adrian Lam, and 10 members of the PNG Hunters team.
PNG will have home advantage in their group matches against Wales, Ireland and the USA which will all be held at the new national stadium in Port Moresby.
