Hull KR's Jamie Ellis equals goalkicking record

Hull KR scrum-half Jamie Ellis equalled the record for most consecutive successful goalkicks as he helped his side maintain their 100 per cent record in the Kingstone Press Championship with a 28-14 victory over Halifax.

Ellis, who is on a season-long loan from Huddersfield, succeeded with his first four kicks at goal to draw level with Liam Finn, who kicked 41 successive goals for Featherstone in 2012.

Ellis had a chance to set a new record but miscued his 66th-minute penalty kick from around 25 metres out and just to the left of the posts.
