Imadpour (5/1), Tyson (6/1), Solsbury Hill (13/2), The Dawn (13/2), Half A Chance (7/1), Onlymammycanloveme (8/1), Lakota Blue (8/1), Mercury Mission (12/1), Backfromtheraces (16/1), Tudor Manor (16/1), Onebrightbluerose (25/1), Arch Hall (25/1), Navy Guitar (33/1), La Tulipe Noire (66/1)

Verdict

The two who appeal most are THE DAWN and Tyson, both of whom have fewer miles on the clock than sixteen-race maiden Mercury Mission. The last-named is respected despite his 0-16 record and a strongly-run race at this trip would certainly aid his cause, but The Dawn found just one too good on his handicap debut at Clonmel and is taken to get his head in front this time. Tyson failed to fire at Naas but has to be of interest judged on his improved effort at Fairyhouse on New Year's Day.

  1. THE DAWN (FR)
  2. TYSON (GER)
  3. MERCURY MISSION
