Forecasts

Celtic Warrior (10/11), Mashadi (10/3), Muttasil (5/1), General Assembly (7/1), Rogue Encore (8/1), Mesaafi (14/1), Arnaz (18/1), Maryanne (66/1), Tribal Chief (66/1), Laser Focus (100/1), Spartan Times (200/1), Dashing Willie (250/1), Lady Twilight (250/1), Thursday (250/1)

Verdict

CELTIC WARRIOR was much improved when second in a Southwell handicap on reappearance and a repeat of that form could be good enough back in a maiden. Like the selection, Mashadi arrives on the back of a good recent effort in handicap company and is the chief threat on form. Rogue Encore has shown promise on both starts and should also figure, while General Assembly would also enter the reckoning if the betting vibes are strong having switched to George Boughey.

  1. CELTIC WARRIOR (IRE)
  2. MASHADI (IRE)
  3. ROGUE ENCORE
