Verdict

Plenty in with a squeak but the vote goes to MUCH TOO DEAR, who looked rusty but did enough by the end to show his ability remains at Kempton 10 weeks ago and now stepping back up in trip Laura Horsfall's 6-y-o is worth chancing to make a winning start to life in handicaps. Lanspark was a commanding winner at Fontwell on Boxing Day so he's put forward as the main threat, ahead of Copshill Lad, who went close at this track in November.

  1. MUCH TOO DEAR (IRE)
  2. LANSPARK (IRE)
  3. COPSHILL LAD (IRE)
