Verdict

Though ultimately below her best when returning to action over hurdles at Newbury, MUCUNA was entitled to need that run following an 18-month absence and she did show enough to suggest that her ability remains intact. She is appealing back in this sphere and gets the nod ahead of Private Bryan, who went close at Chelmsford last week and will be a big threat if coping with this step back up in trip. Velvet Vulcan is of interest in this new headgear combination and Destinado also has claims.

  1. MUCUNA (GER)
  2. PRIVATE BRYAN
  3. VELVET VULCAN
