Forecasts

The Big Chap (6/4), Rebel Rose (4/1), Whatsavailable (11/2), Volantis (13/2), Bravo Team (13/2), Gallant John Joe (7/1), Digby (8/1), Construct (16/1), Quantatmental (40/1)

Verdict

VOLANTIS built on his encouraging hurdles debut when landing a Fairyhouse maiden in February and, with the likelihood of better to come now moving back up in trip for this handicap debut, he could be the answer. The Big Chap is a much-respected main danger with conditions in his favour, while Rebel Rose will be a threat if fit enough to do herself justice following a 9-month absence and Digby is also worth a second look.
