Forecasts

Heltenham (7/2), Super Six (7/2), Espoir De Guye (11/2), Honneur D'Ajonc (13/2), The Big Bite (8/1), Numitor (17/2), Eden Du Houx (10/1), Zhiguli (11/1), Riders Onthe Storm (12/1), Messire Des Obeaux (14/1)

Verdict

Most of these arrive in good form but the lightly-raced HELTENHAM is potentially the big improver in the field given the manner of his wins at Newcastle and Ffos Las, so he could still be ahead of his mark. Fellow 6-y-o Super Six is getting his act together over fences now and rates the main threat after his dominant win at Haydock, while The Big Bite responded well to this headgear when winning the Greatwood with a bit in hand over C&D so must be respected, too.

  1. HELTENHAM (FR)
  2. SUPER SIX
  3. THE BIG BITE (IRE)
