Verdict

An intriguing clash between promising novices RICHMOND LAKE and Bass Rock. It was hard not to be impressed by the way Richmond Lake did the job at Wetherby where he cosily accounted for a number of more experienced, battle-hardened chasers, and he looks the one to be on. One Fine Man has much more on his plate compared to when getting off the mark over fences at Carlisle but he is still clear third choice given Peaceful Sunday's downward spiral subsequent to winning over hurdles last winter.

  1. RICHMOND LAKE (IRE)
  2. BASS ROCK (FR)
  3. ONE FINE MAN (IRE)
