Verdict

The one with the most compelling claims based on recent evidence is PATIENT OWNER, who made a positive start over fences upped to 3m last month at Uttoxeter where he found just one too good. A 2 lb rise for that looks very fair indeed, particularly in light of the fact that the third and fourth from that race have both won since. Chris Cool could have a part to play if taking to fences at the first attempt, while Dawn Raider is capable of going well off this mark.
