Verdict

Preference is for CHENG GONG, who returned to form from out of the blue when third in a C&D handicap last week. He sported a first-time visor that day and it remains to be seen if he'll back that up with cheekpieces refitted in place of the visor, but he will have every chance off this 1 lb lower mark if the change of headgear doesn't prove detrimental. Yagan's latest effort was creditable and he will be a threat if responding well to the addition of blinkers, while Winklevi also merits respect.

  1. CHENG GONG
  2. YAGAN (IRE)
  3. WINKLEVI (FR)
