Verdict

BEAUPORT did so much right in developing into a smart staying hurdler in 2021/22 and promises to prove even better over fences judged on his comeback success in the Colin Parker at Carlisle. He can defy a penalty and make it 2-2 in this sphere before having his sights raised again. Ballygrifincottage is an interesting recruit to chasing for Dan Skelton and could be the danger, with the jury out on Quel Destin who returns from 23 months away and didn't totally convince twice over fences in 2020.
