Verdict

Tim Easterby enjoyed a 1-2 in this last year and could hold the key again with POET'S DAWN. He'd been in good form off his much-reduced mark before a blip at Carlisle 4 weeks ago and could end his losing run back at the scene of his last 2 wins. Rowan Scott got a good tune out of Strangerontheshore here earlier this month, making more use of her than has been the case, and she could go well again despite a 6 lb rise. Outsmart and Mr Strutter are a couple of others to consider.

  1. POET'S DAWN
  2. STRANGERONTHESHORE
  3. OUTSMART (IRE)
