Verdict

The well-bred DAWN RISING probably didn't reach his ceiling for Aidan O'Brien, finishing runner-up in a Newmarket Group 3 when last seen 2 summers ago, and could be a very useful recruit to hurdling if all is well. Esperti sets the standard and this longer trip will suit so he'll surely be in the hunt. Champ Kelly is interesting back from a year off, while Misty's Gift should have more to offer in this sphere.

  1. DAWN RISING (IRE)
  2. ESPERTI (IRE)
  3. CHAMP KIELY (IRE)
