Verdict

Last seen going close on his chase debut here in October, CLONDAW BERTIE will prove hard to beat back hurdling if he's ready to roll following a nine-month absence. Top Line Tommy boasts several pieces of form which give him strong claims in this company, but he's 0-16 in this sphere and a bigger threat could be posed by Nevendon. A mention also needs to made of Starzov, who shaped pretty well on his Rules debut in a Wexford maiden hurdle.
