Verdict

LEDNIKOV left his opening exploits for his present yard firmly in his wake when landing a 9-runner Musselburgh handicap (12.5f) 25 days ago, looking well served by the switch to positive tactics. That race has thrown up a couple of subsequent winners and he can go well again from a 1 lb higher mark. Blistering Barney also arrives in good form and is next best, ahead of the returning Keep It Brief.
