Verdict

SON OF THE SOMME has made a really positive start to life in handicaps and, with further progress not ruled out given he's lightly raced for a 7-y-o, he looks the answer. Goodtimes Badtimes put up a career best to win at Musselburgh on Friday but his application under pressure can sometimes be lacking, while Romeo Brown is likely to give it another good go.
