Verdict

LYDFORD had some fairly useful Flat form to his name and also made a promising bow in this sphere when runner-up at Leicester so is taken to go one better now. Midnight Centurion also showed plenty on his first go over hurdles at Uttoxeter though so should ensure the Skelton's new recruit doesn't have things all his own way. Hurdling-debutants Great Ocean and King Arise need considering too.

  1. LYDFORD
  2. MIDNIGHT CENTURION
  3. GREAT OCEAN (FR)
