Preference is for CAIRN GORM, who is now 4 lb lower than when fifth in a valuable C&D handicap at the July meeting and he should get a strong pace to aim at, despite the small field. The in-form Boogie Time has to be taken seriously and Liberated Lady is of interest now dropped to 6f, but the form of Cairn Island's reappearance fourth on the Rowley Mile is very strong and he is feared most.
