Popmaster (9/4), Dream Composer (9/2), Royal Scimitar (5/1), Cairn Gorm (8/1), Mitrosonfire (17/2), Shark Two One (10/1), Temple Bruer (14/1), Bowman (14/1), Crazy Luck (16/1), Mamba Wamba (16/1), Internationaldream (16/1), Fantasy Master (20/1)

Verdict

ROYAL SCIMITAR looks the way to go on the back of his superb effort in a big handicap at Newmarket where he was the clear winner of those that raced on the unfavoured side of the track. He was just a short-head adrift of the third, Popmaster, and meets that rival on 5 lb better terms here. The progressive Dream Composer is clear second choice, while Shark Two One makes some each-way appeal.

  1. ROYAL SCIMITAR (IRE)
  2. DREAM COMPOSER (FR)
  3. SHARK TWO ONE
