Verdict

EMPORIO has had plenty of chances but it's still worth remembering he was fifth in the Irish 2000 Guineas and his latest run in the Britannia at Royal Ascot was respectable. As such, he gets the nod ahead of Punakha, who is open to further improvement, with Notre Belle Bete an obvious danger if he can recapture his best form.

  1. EMPORIO (IRE)
  2. PUNAKHA (IRE)
  3. NOTRE BELLE BETE
