Verdict

Given the stamina in his pedigree there's a strong possibility LYDFORD will benefit from this step up to 2m so this lightly-raced 4-y-o gets the nod ahead of East Asia, who is thriving for his new trainer and looks sure to make a bold bid to add to last month's C&D success. Quickish ground would be a bit of a worry for Call My Bluff but he is another who is very much going the right way.
