Verdict

ALPHA KING made a very pleasing start when runner-up at Newcastle last autumn and is fancied to go one better at the chief expense of Painless Potter who kept excellent company as a juvenile but is more exposed than John Gosden's choicely-bred Kingman gelding. Newcomer Insomnia is related to a couple of useful winners so appeals most of the remainder.

  1. ALPHA KING
  2. PAINLESS POTTER (IRE)
  3. INSOMNIA
