Verdict

The fact French bumper winner GRAND BORNAND went off a heavily-backed favourite on his hurdle debut suggests he's well regarded by the Mullins team and he's taken to prove a different proposition in the first-time headgear combination. Grand Paradis ought to step up on his hurdle debut and can provide the chief threat ahead of Glorie d'Athon, who may benefit from the drop back to 2m.
