Verdict

Dr Richard Newland hasn't had long to work his magic on PHOENIX DAWN but even a repeat of the form he showed when second in a claimer last week on his final outing for his previous yard could be good enough to take this. Cremant should be suited by this return to a longer trip and heads the dangers along with Exeter runner-up Sweeping Rock. Tuscan Pearl is also a potential improver in handicaps.

  1. PHOENIX DAWN
  2. CREMANT (IRE)
  3. SWEEPING ROCK (IRE)
