Striking A Pose (3/1), Chess Player (10/3), Glajou (9/2), A Distant Place (9/2), Press Your Luck (6/1), Colonel Manderson (9/1), God Knows Why (40/1), Grey Flint (50/1), Hardy Articos (50/1)

Verdict

A case can be made for most of these but Colin Tizzard's well-bred newcomer STRIKING A POSE is taken to make the perfect start at the chief expense of Glajou who was too keen when only seventh at Taunton on his debut for Paul Nicholls but can be expected to fare better now. Colonel Manderson and God Knows Why are not dismissed lightly either in an intriguing novice hurdle.

  1. STRIKING A POSE (IRE)
  2. GLAJOU (FR)
  3. COLONEL MANDERSON (FR)
