Verdict

WESTERN RUN shaped well when third in a much better maiden than this on hurdles debut at Naas in February, and has also finished in the money on each of his 4 starts in bumpers. He should prove a tough nut to crack. Marmolata is respected on the back of decent efforts at Cork and Tramore but Coeur Aimant, who may have found 25f on soft ground too much of a test last time, rates the main danger.
