Verdict

John Gosden's two-year-olds have shown a tendency to take time to come to themselves this term and one who looks ready for the next step up is SARSPARILLA. She ran well behind the ill-fated Fly Miss Helen two starts ago and her recent third over 6f suggests this trip might actually be her optimum, she should make her experience count. Black Sparrow has done nothing wrong in three starts but this resembles another step up in company but should give an honest account, while the duo of Livia The Empress and Belgium were caught out by inexperience on their debuts and should be more streetwise this time around.
  1. Sarsaparilla
  2. Black Sparrow
  3. Livia The Empress
