Verdict

CITRON MAJOR has drawn the same berth as when winning a competitive even over C&D last month, and that form was boosted when the third was placed in the Stewards' Cup at the weekend. He's still lower in the weights when placed in the Great St Wilfrid here last August, and looks sure to go well again. Staxton has dropped 16lb since finishing a couple of places behind the selection in that latter contest, and is of interest with his yard amongst the winners, while Roundhay Park is another recent winner who handles this track and should continue to give a solid account.
  1. Citron Major
  2. Staxton
  3. Roundhay Park
