Verdict

A competitive race for the grade with preference for FORGE VALLEY LAD who produced an improved showing when breaking his duck at the sixth attempt at Windsor recently. His form ties in closely with Pearl Beach and they are likely to be hard to separate once again but he is fancied to confirm that form with the extra yardage offering the hope of more progress. The similarly unexposed Old Friend has only had two handicap starts & would have claims if able to back up his latest effort which could have been a winning one on another day when he was denied in a three-way photo. After ending his long losing run when last seen, Militry Decoration is another to consider.
  1. Forge Valley Lad
  2. Old Friend
  3. Pearl Beach
