Verdict

Never going to worry the judge in a couple of starts on the Flat since June, the Gordon Elliott-trained, LONGCLAW can get his hurdling career off to a winning one in the opener. The three-year-old was the highest rated of these on the Flat and wouldn't have to improve too much to take this. The Joseph O'Brien-trained Calidus Mirabilis, Dazzling Dream for the Gavin Cromwell yard and the Tom McCourt, Exceed And Excel gelding, Summit Rock can go well on hurdling debut while Jeff Kidder for the Noel Meade stable should be checked in the market prior to the off.
  1. Longclaw
  2. Calidus Mirabilis
  3. Dazzling Darren
