The Leicester maiden winner
Wild Hero must enter the thinking, alongside Ralph Beckett's prominent-racing filly
Calatrava (form linked with
Rhyme Scheme). The latter appears to be strengthening with racing and isn't punitively handicapped from an opening mark of 73. However, with the Simon and Ed Crisford horses in such fine fettle in recent weeks, the speculative selection is the twice-raced Kodiac gelding
AL BADR. He contested a competitive Wolverhampton maiden (featured Streak Lightning and Master The Stars) on his most recent start, and it'll be interesting to see if he's capable of raising his game now introduced to handicapping on turf.
