Makawee (third) and Bella Vita (fourth) both acquitted themselves honourably when finishing behind Cabaletta in the Aphrodite Stakes at Newbury, and are almost guaranteed to turn in a similarly solid level of form. Meanwhile, the wholly unexposed Kempton fillies' novice winner Expressionism returns from a 275-day absence for Charlie Appleby. However, the pair to concentrate most closely upon are Katara and COSMIC PRINCESS. The former brushed aside La Dragontea with more authority at Kempton (1m3f) than the latter did at Newbury (1m2f), but at the projected odds Hughie Morrison's filly offers the greater value. She should truly relish this extra yardage.
