Verdict

AYR POET has turned the corner since going handicapping and on the back of two solid placed efforts so far this campaign is taken to get off the mark here with the extra furlong set to boost his chance. Recent C&D winner Havana Go could be the main danger and will be competitive again off just 3lb higher, and although the drop back to this trip may not be ideal, recent course 1m3f winner Flying Moon will also make his presence felt. Amourie is another with claims after a solid fourth at Beverely last time, and top weight Zealous should be better for a respectable first run back here three weeks ago.
  1. Ayr Poet
  2. Havana Go
  3. Amourie
