The longest race on tonight's Thirsk card is arguably one of the most interesting, with the progressive three-year-old King's Charisma seeking a hat-trick of wins for David O'Meara. Nevertheless, on paper this appears to be an extremely competitive affair, in which the likes of Matewan, Make Haste Slowly, and the lightly-raced Camelot colt Camahawk also tick plenty of the required boxes. However, preference is for the soft-ground proven duo Jackamundo (sports a first-time tongue-tie) and the recent Hamilton eye-catcher THE NAVIGATOR. The booking of Paul Mulrennan is considered to be a major plus for the selection.
