Verdict

Could be a coin toss between the four J P McManus-owned runners with preference for the nine-year-old, THECRAICISNINETY. The Padraig Roche-trained gelding is the winner of one of his 14 starts over hurdles and ran well in defeat in a Kilbeggan handicap chase last month off a 1lb lower mark. The son of Presenting can get the better of last years winner, All The Answers and the Paul Nolan-trained Quamino who has been running with credit in Grade A and B races in December/February. Jan Maat and Rewritetherules look capable of hitting the frame.
