Verdict

Newbury's summer feature has often went the way of a Hannon, with Richard Hannon senior saddling Risky (1993) and Monsieur Chevalier (2009) among his seven previous winners. Hannon junior seeks his third success, following on from Tiggy Wiggy (2014) and Ginger Nut (2018), and is mob-handed with the Queen Mary Stakes fifth Happy Romance, Cirrus, Kool Moe Dee and Risque. Meanwhile others with solid credentials include the Goodwood scorer Lullaby Moon (since switched to Michael Bell), and the likeable Get It. However, in pursuit of value we'll chance the centrally-drawn RISHWORTHIAN who thrived for the application of a first-time visor at Thirsk.
  1. Rishworthian
  2. Cirrus
  3. Get It
