Verdict

The veteran, THE TRIGGER looked in good form with himself as he battled to win a 14-runner handicap chase earlier this month and can land the spoils here on his return over timber. The 11-year-old can hold off the attentions of his nearest challenger in Golden Nomad for in form trainer and jockey combination of Gordon Elliott/Davy Russell. The gallant Allduckornodinner for trainer Gavin Cromwell can be expected to give another good account while Happy Lad and C&D winner Ocean Glandore may improve from their efforts on seasonal debut.
