He stayed well enough in France so the step up in trip is within his compass and he should make a bold bid to defy his latest 7lb rise. Carp Kid is consistent and ran another sound race last time. He will be in there pitching where it matters most, while Involved won in good style at HQ last month and despite being raised 8lb is expected to give another good account. Sherpa Trail is lightly raced and has only been beaten once so deserves respect, and City Tour has a squeak too with the first-time visor now applied.
