Verdict

Sam Cooke has the most potential in the field, and could make a mockery of his mark if fully recovered from a split pastern incurred last summer. He does need to prove his well-being, though, and preference at the prices is for CHRISTOPHER WOOD, who would have won much more easily at Pontefract but for being hampered in the straight, and he will handle the predicted ground better than most. Reshoun didn't shape badly in the Northumberland Plate last time, and will be fitter for that return. He's another who will be suited by any ease underfoot.
  1. Christopher Wood
  2. Sam Cooke
  3. Reshoun
