Verdict

The Michael Mulvany-trained IDEAL PAL is in a rich vein of form and can get back to winning ways in this contest. The four-year-old won well at Gowran Park on return to action before being no match for Patrick Sarsfield at Leopardstown last month but has the assistance of rising star of the weighing room, Dylan Browne McMonagle. The big danger would be Centroid for trainer Dermot Weld, if anywhere near his form of 2018. Spiorad Saoirse better than last effort suggests, On The Balcony, the mount of jockey Nathan Crosse and the Joseph O'Brien-trained Isotope are all capable of hitting the frame.
  1. Ideal Pal
  2. Centroid
  3. Isotope
