Verdict

With Micky Hammond among the winners at Musselburgh last week, the eased in the weights (& grade) top-weight Frankster merits market scrutiny, but the pair to concentrate most closely upon are the Doncaster rivals BROCTUNE RED and Glaceon. Tina Jackson's mare has proved reasonably consistent over the past 12 months or so, and will almost certainly strip fitter for that recent seasonal reappearance. However, she could once more be forced to play second-fiddle to a blossoming ten-race maiden. The Gillian Boanas-trained five-year-old gave supporters of the in-form Lacan a mighty scare at Doncaster, and this rates as a suitable opportunity to strike.
  1. Broctune Red
  2. Glaceon
  3. Frankster
